Dublin's new Target store and a nearby restaurant were evacuated Monday morning because of a gas leak.
An Alameda County fire official said fire crews responded to reports of a gas leak at the store, located just off I-580 at Fallon Road just before 10 a.m.
The nearby BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse across the parking lot from Target also was evacuated, Alameda County Deputy Fire Chief David Rocha said.
Rocha said the leak occurred at a construction site just north of the Target and that a PG&E crew had hit a gas line. The leak was capped by 11:30 a.m.
