What does this mean?

Christy,

I know this is all very confusing. It helps to read the whole blog and some of the earlier blogs I wrote on saving Mudd's.

What it basically means is the Mudd's property is still in limbo and the building could still be torn down to put something else there, and I'm still trying to keep that from happening.

How did the city end up with Mudds property anyway?

Al P,

The city of San Ramon is now in control of Mudd's as a result of the dissolution of state Redevelopment Agencies (RDA) in February 2012. In January, San Ramon voted to allow its housing agency to manage previous RDA properties -- properties on Omega Road and Alcosta Boulevard and the former site of Mudd's Restaurant -- and make debt service payments.
