Beloved San Ramon Native Passes Away
Around Town, posted by Jennifer Higdon, a resident of San Ramon, on Dec 11, 2012 at 10:56 am

Loving father and friend to many, Michael (Mike) Anthony Ingraham, 43, passed away at his home in Colorado Springs, CO, on December 6, 2012. Originally from the East Bay area, he had resided in Colorado since 2007.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Ross Ingraham, and is survived by his sons Ethan Ingraham, 21, of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, and Jacob, 11, and Lucas, 9, Ingraham of Aurora, CO; and his mother, Patricia Ingraham of Tracy, CA.

Mike is also survived by ex-wife, Jennifer of Aurora, CO, with whom he spent many years raising their sons together, and ex-wife Desiree of Buffalo Grove, IL. He leaves behind his siblings and their families including sister Kelly Casavan (Robert) of Manteca, CA, their children Robert Jr., Michael, and Madison; sister Shannon Smith (Scott) of Colorado Springs, CO, children Ryan and Meghan; and brother Matthew of Benicia, CA, and daughter Amy.

Mike was born in San Mateo, and lived in Belmont before moving to San Ramon where he graduated from San Ramon High School. He went to California State University, Hayward, and worked throughout college managing local restaurants before graduating in 1994.

He got his real estate license and worked as a commercial agent before going to work for Oliver Allen, where he spent 12 years as a senior sales representative. He remained in senior-level positions with employment to follow at GE Healthcare, Merrimak Capital, and Kingsbridge Healthcare Finance.

Mike was a fiercely proud father and his greatest love was the time he spent with his three boys. In earlier years, it was the bond he shared with his father, Ross, and season tickets to San Francisco 49ers. Perhaps most notable, however, were the friendships he fostered throughout his lifetime. From Little League, to high school, to his days working at Garcia’s restaurant, to the recent friends he made in Colorado, he was a best friend to all who were drawn to his humor.

It was this epic sense-of-humor that will be most missed by his family and friends. He never missed a poker game, was an expert at quoting comedies, loved watching football and playing in fantasy leagues, loved the SF 49ers and Giants, riding his Harley, golfing…and everything involved making people laugh.

A memorial service to remember Mike will be held Friday, December 14, 2012 at St. Joan of Arc Church, 2601 San Ramon Valley Blvd., San Ramon, CA, 94583. Please call (925) 830-0600 for more information.

Born in San Mateo, moved a lot then died in Colorado - but listed as San Ramon Native??

Sorry he is dead. He sounds like a nice guy but not a San Ramon Native.
