The Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office is expected to review a case against a retired fire captain and Alamo resident who allegedly stole a wide array of property from the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District while employed there.

It's not enough that at 51 he is "retired" and gets a huge pension which I'm sure is in excess of $100K since he was a captain. Now he has to steal from the department. I hope they take his pension away and make him go back to work. There is not reason that anyone should retire at 51. That's what's wrong with the system. Police too.
