A pair of suspected burglars was arrested earlier this month after allegedly using a Contra Costa Times subscriber vacation list to target and

burglarize at least one home in Walnut Creek, police said Tuesday.

That's why you never put your paper or mail "on hold"! Get a trusted neighbor to pick it up for you...it's well worth the small thank you gift you will give them! My neighbors and I just do it for each other all the time...no gifts needed. I have enough trouble with the CC Times trying to repeatedly charge me...OVERcharge... me for a subscription when I have already paid for it, so I wouldn't trust them for anything.
