No More Nany State Socialist Goat Poop! The Dirka doesn't smoke, but goodnes sake, it seems like the next thing they will want to do is regualte toilet paper. How many squares may we use to appease the enviro-nazis? Or should we mandate bidets? How about we teach manners instead? Smokers, don't drag on the fag when you are near babies and socialists. Wait, that's pretty much everwhere in San Ramon.
The Dirka finds the smell of baby poop intollerable. Let's pass a law against baby poop. No more baby poop in public places. Diaper bags are now banned and while we at at, so is screaming/crying babies, they are so annoying. Some get migrains, so everyone should keep their babies away from designated baby free zones.

The article misquoted a golf course statement. People do not smoke in the clubhouse. They smoke outside but under the overhang and away from the doorways. That has been the acceptable policy for years. Is the overhang considered building?

In regards to Dirka- I wish my neighbor who is a chain smoker had good manners. My neighbor would smoke under our window and it would fill up our apartment. I have two kids and so does she. Well, I asked her (tried to be nice about it) as a mother if she would not smoke under our window and she told me to go to Hell. You see, I don't care that she smokes, but it isn't like I could just walk away..this is our home and we live here! It didn't matter if our door and windows were shut, it still got in.
So, I got involved and now she won't be able to smoke anywhere on this property and the poor people who have common decency won't be able to smoke either. You can thank her for my pushing this ordnance!
This happened to pass on the birthday and it will go into affect April 1, 2013. It's a shame that I won't benefit from this ordnance, because we are moving next week to Napa. This will help out whomever moves in after us.
I am so proud of San Ramon for passing this. Thank you for hearing my pleas.
