A Danville teen's "American Idol" audition is set to air during the hit Fox show's two-night premiere this week.
Rachel Rolleri, a 17-year-old singer and acoustic guitarist, performed for judges Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick Jr. when the "American Idol" crew stopped in San Francisco searching for contestants for the show's upcoming 13th season.
Rolleri is scheduled to appear during Thursday night's episode. She posted a clip of her audition on her Facebook page last week.
The Monte Vista High student has experienced talent-show success in the past, taking first place at the 2012 Valley Teen Idol competition presented by the San Ramon Valley Rotary Club.
