It's unfortunate the city has to resort to this, but I understand completely. I MIGHT add, I hope it STOPS the crazed ADULT racing bicyclists so they stop a little more around our residential area.
I almost missed one on Olympia Fields the other day coming from Thunderbird. I am DISGUSTED that the San Ramon bicycle "enthusiasts" don't seem to "get" that the rules of the road are made for them too. They fly through stops around the residential streets around here totally disrespectful of cars and pedestrians. So glad I have a horn on my car, because I'm now starting to use it...The odd part? It's CLEAR they see pedestrians and vehicles, they CHOOSE NOT to stop - their "racing" is apparently more important to them.
