Hello from your new editor
Editor's Blog, posted by Emily West, editor of the San Ramon Express, on Apr 16, 2010 at 10:03 am
Emily West is a member (registered user) of San Ramon Express

As you may have noticed, there's been a little switch going on behind the scenes of Embarcadero Media, the parent company for San Ramon Express. Allow me to introduce myself as the new editor. My name is Emily West and I have spent the past three and a half years as the features editor at the Pleasanton Weekly and TriValley Views, a paper and website serving the Dublin community.

Dolores Fox Ciardelli, the former editor of the Danville Express and San Ramon Express, has moved back to her former post as managing editor for the Pleasanton Weekly and now also for TriValley Views. But, she's not going far. She'll still be involved in print products and special sections in Danville and San Ramon. In fact, our desks are a few steps from each other, so we're in constant touch and having fun comparing notes on news and happenings.

I am becoming even more acquainted with San Ramon and Danville. In fact, my husband recently started working at a company in Bishop Ranch and I have enjoyed exploring the area with him. One of my favorite local haunts is Costco, where my mother-in-law happens to work. You may catch me in the food court with a slice of combo pizza and maybe a berry sundae once the weather warms up.

If you have any questions, concerns or story ideas, please send them my way at [email protected].
